The Gori Festival

The Gori International Choir Music Festival

The precondition of the foundation of the Festival was the presence of a choir of international distinction in Gori and the celebration of choir music in 1985. Among the participants of the Festival were distinguished ensembles - the Novosibirsk State Philharmonic Chamber Choir (Artistic Director and Chief Conductor Boris Pevzner), Laureate of international competitions, and the Vladimir Choir (Artistic Director and Chief Conductor Eduard Markin), Laureate of international festivals, which triggered the idea of the organization of the Gori International Choir Music Festival.
