"...The work of the Women's Choir of the Gori Music College is a brilliant example of the highest vocal art - perfect sounding in every register, expressiveness and excellence of dynamic nuances, accuracy and concentration during the whole program, the organ sounding and orchestral colours of the performance of a work, a close interrelation of contemporaneity and folk traditions".

Remeni Yaanjsh, Hungary

"Your performance gave me an opportunity to discover a new world, unknown to me before. Your art radiates such power that fascinates the listener. Your singing will remain in my memory for a long time".

Ishtvan Parkai

" According to its sounding, this unusually talented ensemble, directed by Shalva Mosidze, is a large choir. For the "Middle European" eye and ear, its vocal abilities are absolutely fantastic. Alto velvety tones acquire bass nuances. The choir renders convincingly profound emotional experience, which evokes strong emotions. The listener is astonished at the play of sounds and colours".

Larisa Dichko

"I have listened to wonderful choirs, but only few of them remained in my memory. The unusual pleasure that I experienced listening to you will remain as a great event in my memory. The performance technique and expressiveness of your choir is absolutely unique. When I am listening to you it seems to me that I am listening to beauty itself.

Marcel Corneloup

"From the Gori Women's Choir we heard choral singing of the highest standard. Its thirty women members have been excellently trained vocally and are thus able to effect a seamless transition from the gentlest piano to an incredible, breath-taking fortissimo. Euphonic homogeneity, convincing harmony, merging of rich and transparent sounds, are typical features of the impressive art of this choir".

G. Fruschmutz, Germany

"The choir obeyed the conductor, who proved to be a magician of sound, as a precision instrument. The conductor managed to convey the emotive depth and high charge of music. The legato stretching from the first to the last composition brought the listener from one beauty to another"

"Georgian choirs are renowned in the world. The Gori Women's Choir, Artistic Director and Conductor Shalva Mosidze, and Men's Choir "Rustavi", Artistic Director Anzor Erkomaishvili, participated in the Moscow Easter Festival for the second time. Their joint evening concert in the Pavl Slobodkin Moscow Theatre Concert Centre on April 28 became a triumph of Georgian music. The Gori Choir based its performance on works of contemporary Georgian composers, and demonstrated skilful mastery of choral technique" ("Moscow Easter Festival, Artistic Director Valeri Gergiev").

"The hall appreciated greatly the incomparable Women's Choir from Gori.. .Similar to their first arrival, the choir singers, performing non-trivial choral pieces of contemporary Georgian composers, demonstrated unexpected timbres, excellent mastery of dynamics and rare harmony" (Moscow Easter Festival, Artistic Director Valeri Gergiev").
